This policy explains what Piermits, operated by Piermits LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Piermits"), collects and how we use it.

What we collect

When you request a demo we collect the name, company, email, phone and county you provide. When you use the Service we store the permit and property data you enter (addresses, parcels, home specs, documents) to deliver the product. We also collect basic technical data (such as log and device information) to operate and secure the Service.

How we use it

We use your information to provide the Service, respond to demo requests, generate and validate permit packets, support your account, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, under confidentiality obligations, and when required by law. Today those providers include payment processing (Stripe), hosting and database infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase), email delivery (Resend), AI processing (Anthropic), and site analytics (Microsoft Clarity). County and government portals receive only the data you choose to submit to them.

Analytics and cookies

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website, through behavioral metrics such as clicks, scrolling, heatmaps, and session replays, captured via cookies and similar technologies. Microsoft processes this data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We use it to improve the site and the Service, not to sell your information. You can limit or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Retention and security

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. Compliance evidence (such as field photos) may be retained for a defined period to support inspections and disputes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
